Established in 1999, Ghaghra Science College is a constituent college affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University. We are recognised by the UGC, certified to ISO 9001:2015, and committed to inclusive, value-driven higher education.
Ghaghra Science College was established on 9 August 1999 by MLA Comrade Mahendra Prasad Singh, with Prof. Ashok Kumar Yadav serving as its first Principal. Initially offering undergraduate degrees in 17 subjects, the college has since expanded into a comprehensive institution enrolling over 3,700 students across the sciences, arts, and commerce.
After the founder’s passing, the legacy has been continued under the stewardship of Vinod Kumar Singh, his son. The college is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and certified to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
